7 months - 2 years: Your kitten isn’t a kitten anymore, but they’re not quite a fully mature adult cat yet either. This time is what’s often called the junior stage of life or the teenage-to-young-adult years. Full of energy, curiosity, and rapid growth, but also a time when lifelong habits are formed. 

When your cat reaches 11 years of age, they are officially considered a senior. These years bring a mix of wisdom, affection, and new challenges as the natural effects of aging can become more noticeable and their risk for age-related conditions can increase at this stage.
